چکیده

In order to reduce excessive fertiliser application, a non-destructive method of spectral data acquisition using spectroradiometer with wavelet analysis was explored determine the level nutrients in oil palm leaves. analysis, de-noising (WD) can be applied remove background noises and other disturbances such as scattered light that may affect results data. Therefore, this study aims evaluate best combination parameters for WD, respect nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) potassium (K). These were studied three age groups immature, mature, old palms. The evaluated based on highest value coefficient determination (R2) lowest root mean square error (RMSE) partial least regression (PLSR) analysis. prediction nutrient content correlation found have tremendous improvement proposed technique when compared original spectra, R2 0.99 K mature palms, 0.97 N immature palms 0.95 P WD better than from chemometric namely multiplicative scatter correction (MSC). It observed each type maturity level, there different suited them. assisted optimal gives excellent relationship between N, P, K.

Image De-noising using Discrete Wavelet transform

The image de-noising naturally corrupted by noise is a classical problem in the field of signal or image processing. Additive random noise can easily be removed using simple threshold methods. De-noising of natural images corrupted by Gaussian noise using wavelet techniques are very effective because of its ability to capture the energy of a signal in few energy transform values. The wavelet de...

Performance Enhancement of GPS/INS Integrated Navigation System Using Wavelet Based De-noising method

Accuracy of inertial navigation system (INS) is limited by inertial sensors imperfections. Before using inertial sensors signals in the data fusion algorithm, noise removal method should be performed, in which, wavelet decomposition method is used. In this method the raw data is decomposed into high and low frequency data sets. In this study, wavelet multi-level resolution analysis (WMRA) techn...

Study of Wavelet Transforms In De-Noising (Using Cauchy Distribution)

Degraded signal has an adverse effect on the performance of the system and therefore it must be removed before further processing of signals. Spectral analysis through the Fourier transform is the simplest way to remove the noise, but it is limited to only stationary signals. Non stationary signals require continuous analysis of the signal in time and frequency domain. Wavelets provide better t...

Wavelet Transform in De-noising Geophysical Data

Shallow depth geophysical data from archaeological sites contain various levels and types of noise that hinters the valuable information of the subsurface architectural relics. Wavelet transform techniques were tested as a method for decomposition of the original geophysical data in order to eliminate the noise levels inherent to the geophysical measurements. In addition to the above, unsupervi...
